wayne state university undergraduate students

Wayne State University requires that all undergraduate students complete General Education requirements to demonstrate competency in 3 areas: Quantitative Experience, Oral Communication, and Written Communication. The Written Communication requirement includes 2 courses: (1) Basic Composition and (2) Intermediate Composition. Students must pass Basic Composition before they complete 30 credit hours, which means a majority of First Year students enroll in Introduction to College Writing (ENG 1020).
