defining a problem
black feminism
1st block: In the white male viewpoint. My story of growing up with conforming to White standards. I am purposing this story to reveal hidden truths and [unknown] of his form of femininity.
2nd block: Art gallery exhibit: exhibiting my own piece based upon the subject of black feminism and writing excerpts to explain the painting or design choices. But also creating a live art show exhibit. Me wearing an outfit that is completely me.
3rd block: Having my peers describe the see and feel of me without saying any words doing poses and expressing myself threw an intentional poem: Them sticking the roles on my body. Then showcasing my art? Them reading the excerpts and me telling on emotional poem that speaks truth to my story and then them re-doing the sticky note process:
Goal: to showcase the contrast of what and how we think women are not affect or objectified showing opposite!

Image text: Collage of three separate color photographs of three individual black women shown neck up as their faces are slightly turned toward the camera. Pasted onto the top of two of the photographs is a phrase. The 1st phrase says, “Don’t be fast! Close your legs.” The second phrase reads, “…you always have an attitude. Fix your face.” A fourth image is a close-up photograph of a black hand against two white hands. The final photograph is another black woman shown from the neck up and in side profile. Superimposed over the image are the words “This will be my undoing.”
